Clutch Pong doubled the prizes in both of last week's weekly $100 cash tournaments in Livonia and Dearborn, offering up a total of $400 cash between the two tournaments.  The entry fees remained the same, players just received double the payout because Clutch Pong lives to give people money for throwing ping pong balls in cups.

If you've been living under a rock for the past 5 years you may not have heard about the annual World Series of Beer Pong held in fabulous Las Vegas.  In any case, it's a $50,000 beer pong tournament held by beer pong giants Bpong.com.  The World Series of Beer Pong is being held at the Flamingo Hotel and Casino this year and boats an impressive 450 registered teams to date.  Among those rankings you will find many of our own home bred Clutch Pong faithful.

Despite not holding any World Series of Beer Pong V qualifiers this past year a number of Michigan teams will be heading to Vegas to compete for the $50,000 grand prize.  The current count is a total of ten known teams that hail from the murder mitten including Designated Drinkers, Clutchpong.com, Since Sliced Bread, Rape Vision, Pongtracker Pandemonium, Talk is Cheap and a few others.  Stay tuned for more updates on how the series progresses on our forums in the official World Series of Beer Pong V thread HERE.  Also keep an eye out for World Series of Beer Pong VI qualifiers here in MI starting sometime this summer.
